Caroline’s practice focuses on preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications across a broad range of global industries. Caroline has experience drafting utility applications and design applications, analyzing intellectual property for corporate transactions, and developing patent licensing strategies. Her experience also includes patent litigation in district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).
Caroline works with clients of all sizes to build patent portfolios that support their businesses. She conducts invention harvesting sessions, assesses patentability of potential inventions, and develops filing strategies that align with clients’ strategic objectives.
Caroline has assisted inventors working in a wide array of technologies, including virtual reality, machine learning, integrated circuit design, semiconductor device fabrication, distributed ledger technology, emergency dispatch software, autonomous vehicles, media delivery, data processing and visualization, and computer security.
