If you go to your grave without painting your masterpiece, it will not get painted. No one else can paint it.

About

Alisha Feustel has extensive experience in all aspects of intellectual property law, including litigation, licensing, prosecution and portfolio management. Her diverse background stems from practicing law at one of the nation’s premier law firms and from working as in-house IP counsel at multiple companies.

Alisha focuses her practice on strategically developing patent portfolios. This includes procuring client patent rights through U.S. and foreign prosecution, performing due diligence to acquire third party patents, preparing freedom-to-operate opinions, and conducting patent validity and infringement analyses. She has advised clients in a variety of technologies, including electro-optic displays, computer software, video game consoles, medical devices, conductive adhesives, charged pigment particles and biocompatible solutions.

As a corporate IP attorney, Alisha worked closely with research engineers to capture patentable concepts and to further develop ideas into patentable inventions. She recognizes the unique challenges in educating technical personnel on patents and in engaging them to participate in company patent programs. Working with inventors on patent applications is a favorite part of her job.
